The 47-year-old claims he ditched acting because he "lost his chubby kid essence" and no one wanted to hire him.
He told the MailOnline: “There were basically about four fat kids in town, so every time there was a fat kid role you saw the same people at the audition.

As of right now, Jeff runs his own law firm and is also a renowned writer, having published a book on business in Hollywood and has written articles for several big publications.
In addition to his law firm bio mentioning the film, Cohen often posts about The Goonies on social media, whether it's memes related to the movie or random Goonies products that he's spotted.

Following his appearance in The Goonies, Jeff went on to appear in the TV movie Ask Max and series like Family Ties.
While no longer eligible for showbiz awards like an Oscar, Cohen earned industry acclaim with his mention in Variety's Dealmakers Impact Report.
