The Real Housewives of Cheshire first appeared on screens in the UK on 12 January 2015 and has been entertaining audiences across the nation ever since.
The ITVBe programme which belongs to the Real Housewives' franchise gives viewers an insight into the the lavish and often scandalous lives of the highly affluent women of Cheshire.
Business owner and model Lystra Adams first joined the ladies for the 12th series of the show and hasn't looked back since.
When Lystra, 44, popped up on the Cheshire scene, the star made an explosive entrance and soon became the talk of the town.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, the mother-of-one ensured us that everything viewers see is very real and the tension between cast members continues even when the cameras have stopped rolling.
The model explained: "Let's say you're having an argument with somebody and people think it's scripted and stuff like that and it's not.
"When you're having a heated debate or an argument and they say cut you still feel angered by it. Even when it's over and I'm going home and I'm driving I'm like 'ah that was so annoying!'"
"It is real and it's real feelings and stuff like that," she added.
"I actually thought before joining that it weren't. I thought that maybe we would be getting on so well that they would have to push us. But when I got in there, I saw that girl, this is for real!"
She continued: "You film for hours and it gets dissected into a small section for the show.
"Every conversation you have any every topic, they're gonna pick their best bits because they are going to want drama. If everyone is getting on, then why are we watching the show?"
Lystra also explained how they film with people they have tension with and what they look out for.
She said: "So basically what it is, if me and somebody aren't getting along, what they don't have us do is talk story lines. So we don't have to fake it for the camera.
"So on a day-to-day the only person I speak to five times a day is Tanya because she's literally my best friend, it's not for telly she's really my bestie.
"The others I don't speak with them unless we're in the room and doing our scenes.
"Unless it's for social media, I won't necessarily know what's going on unless I'm in a scene with them.
"A lot of things as well we film stuff differently, so when you're seeing it and seeing certain things that's when I'm seeing it."
She added: "So I wouldn't necessarily know the girls met up and was talking about me until I see it."
She also gave insight into her first day on set and the unexpected clash she had with other ladies including Hanna Kinsella.
The model expressed: "Even when I joined the show, what was so funny is that I remember leaving going into the car on the first day to join the girls – because they didn't know I was coming.
"I remember saying 'ok this is what you're going to to do, you're going to stay away from all conflict.'
"But as soon as I walked in, on the first day boom!
"I didn't expect this and me and Hanna were going at it.
"But as much as you say that, it is real. It's reality TV and you don't get any lines, you just go off of whatever."
Since she's joined the show Lystra has opened her businesses around the country and recently opened Boujee bar in Manchester and one Liverpool.
The entrepreneur took the plunge and opened her venue during lockdown but told Daily Star the reason why she decided to do it.
"I created my business Boujee from the back of the show," she said
"And I started the one in Liverpool in lockdown in December. That was my turning point because I came out of a bad relationship and a lot wasn't going anywhere.

"So I had to re-examine myself and you know I was a very kept person in that relationship and I got more or less of what I wanted and then coming out of that I was left thinking 'oh my God! I'm on my own.'! She exclaimed.
"So with that I decided to join the show but they were talking to me much before when I was in that relationship but the time wasn't right.
"So I decided number one I'm going to join the show and number two I'm not just going to be on there for the blue tick and the fame.
"So my highlight is joining the show and my business doing well too."
