Beat The Chasers was back on Saturday night with host Bradley Walsh as five contestants all took on the challenge of winning money against The Chasers. Fifth and final contestant Andrea from Surrey managed to get £3,000 in the cash builder, then taking on five chasers for £90,000. Smashing her way through the round, Andrea beat the Chasers with 19 seconds still left on her clock.
Introducing Andrea to the show, Bradley said: “Hello Andrea, welcome to the show what do you do for a living?”
“I’m a teaching assistant, [but] I was a showbiz reporter, I met lots of celebrities,” to which Bradley went on to ask who her favourite celebrity she met was.
“George Clooney,” she replied without hesitation, and Bradley soon asked who her least favourite was.
“I wouldn’t tell you,” Andrea explained, leaving Bradley trying to guess who they were, but Andrea didn’t budge.

After making £3,000 in the cash builder, Andrea has to decide how much money to play for, explaining: “Well, I’ve come with nothing, I could go home with nothing, so what have I got to lose? Nothing.
“Let’s go with five Chasers,” and the audience proceeded to applaud Andrea’s confidence.
Bradley confirmed: “£90,000 let’s see if you can beat the Chasers,” before moving on to the last round.
Andrea flew through the final round with only passing on three questions and the Chasers getting three questions wrong.
As the clock ticked down on the Chasers, Bradley shouted: “Time is up!” with Andrea’s screaming and jumping at her victory.
The six Chasers all gave Andrea a standing ovation as she exclaimed: “Oh my god! Oh my god!”
Pointing to the board which displayed the £90,000 Andrea has just won, Bradley exclaimed: “90 grand, sensational!
“Look at that, 19 seconds left on your clock,” to which Andrea replied: “That was a gamble worth taking!”

Agreeing, Bradley added: “Absolutely it was, unbelievable, 90 grand, what are you going to do with it?”
“I’m going to give some money to the pets therapy charity, I’m going to go to Cuba do some salsa dancing, I’ve got to let it sink in,” she told Bradley.
“Yeah, well, it’s been a pleasure having you on, it really really has, and I think you’ve been absolutely magnificent, so calm under pressure,” Bradley said.
Bradley then asked Paul Sinha what he thought of Andrea’s performance, to which he said: “Absolutely brilliant, what can I say? Beaten fair and square, absolutely superb, congratulations!.”
