Sex and the City fans spent six seasons wondering if Carrie Bradshaw and Mr Big would ever get it together and tie the knot (unless they were team Aidan, of course).
Then when the first movie was released in 2008, they eagerly watched for the moment they'd see Sarah Jessica Parker's character walk down the aisle in a stunning couture gown.
And while the wedding itself didn't quite go to plan, Carrie's Vivienne Westwood dress was the big surprise it was intended to be.
But this of course wasn't the only wedding dress considered for the movie and fans have recently been given a look at some of the other options – more than a decade after the film's release.
The popular Instagram account, Every Outfit on Sex and the City, has shared some rarely seen behind-the-scenes snaps from the wedding dress fitting.
The images, which are taken from a book that was published in conjunction with the movie's release, show SJP trying on nine different gowns in attempt to find the perfect one.
And in true Carrie Bradshaw style, some of the options were most definitely not what you'd expect to see a bride wearing.
The post was captioned: "BEHOLD! The rarely-seen photos from Carrie's wedding dress fitting.
"We would definitely make a case for the more colorful, ornate options (LaCroix, we're assuming?) which speak to Ms. Bradshaw's anti-establishment streak. But then again, being jilted at the altar in a white poufy gown is inifinitely more humiliating.
"Sometimes you have to pick the story over the fashion—even on Sex and the City."
More than 37,000 people have liked the post, with many fans sharing their amazement over the photos.
One person wrote: "These are stunning!"
Another commented: "Number 2 slays my life tbh."
And even SJP herself has replied to the post.
The star wrote: "Ok. Wait a minute. We have so much to discuss. I’m gathering thoughts. WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE PHOTOS??? The mother load!! X, sj."
Now if you need us, we'll be re-watching the Sex and the City movie on Netflix for the millionth time…
