Game Of Thrones might be long gone by now, but the revelations keep on coming and the latest involving Sophie Turner’s photo double for the show will freak you out.
Sophie’s doppelganger, Laura Jane Butler, was hired on Game Of Thrones as the actor’s photo double for Sansa Stark – a stand-in for scenes a certain character is meant to be in but is out of focus or mostly out of shot.
Look how similar they are!
We’re not the only ones who are confused by how two people can look so similar either, as Sophie’s new husband Joe Jonas once mistook Laura for his wife.
Speaking of the stunt doubles she has used, Sophie revealed to Australian radio show Nova just how similar they looked: ‘On Game of Thrones, actually, I had a photo double that people would do double takes at because she looked so much like me. It was insane.
‘Even Joe went up to her at one point and tried to give her a kiss and he was like “oh, sorry, sorry! It’s not Sophie!”‘
Laura has posted pictures of her time on Game Of Thrones to Instagram, including a brilliant selfie with Sophie herself in front of the Iron Throne (well, a picture of it at least).
The show used a whole host of photo doubles for the cast, including Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister and Grey Worm.
Having moved on from GOT, Sophie can now be seen in the latest X-Men movie Dark Phoenix which released in cinemas last week.
Unfortunately the film hasn’t had the most successful opening, only making $14 million (£11 million) on it’s opening day, despite a $200 million (£157 million) budget.
Things are going much better in the marriage department though, as Sophie has admitted her relationship with The Jonas Brothers frontman is going a little too well. Show off.
‘When something great happens to you, something bad is bound to happen,’ she told Australian magazine BW. ‘At the moment, I feel incredibly happy.’
