The Spice Girls may not ever give us a sequel to Spiceworld: The Movie but the girls are planning a brand new animation that will include Posh Spice.
Paramount Animation president Mireille Soria has confirmed previous reports of the film, admitting that the girls ‘had an idea that we’ve been developing’.
The animated feature will include Spice Girls classics such as Wannabe and Say You’ll Be There, as well as new songs, and all five of the girls – Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Victoria Beckham – are on board.
Simon Fuller had previously confirmed the film was in development but speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Soria added: ‘They are very involved.’
The girls are currently in the middle of an epic reunion tour and are preparing for three sold out nights at Wembley Arena.
On Monday they performed in the pouring rain in Bristol but refused to let the weather put a dampener on the evening.
Taking to the stage and blasting out their iconic tunes, the four friends went all out in their dazzling costumes and added some see-through rain macs to try and combat the damage .
Ginger Spice went that extra mile though and paired her modified Union Jack dress with a coat and a hood which she only took off at the last moment with encouragement from the crowds.
What a legend.
