Loose Women panelist Stacey Solomon displayed a strong show of support for Prince Harry who has been criticised for recent comments made about the Royal family on a podcast.
The Duke of Sussex compared his life in the royal family to being in a “zoo” and “The Truman Show” on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.
On Friday's Loose Women, Stacey defended Harry because she viewed his comments as a way to deal with his trauma.
She said: “I just feel like, if he's dealing with the trauma that he's experienced throughout his life, losing his mum – and with him saying that throughout his life has felt like the Truman Show, which I don't think anyone can take away from him.”
The former X Factor star continued: "It must have been the most difficult thing as a child to grow up in everybody's view. Even if a part of him was speaking out because he doesn't have the relationship or the ability to be able to say the things he wants to say those family members that have made him felt that way, to the people that have shaped his life and put him in this position.”
She later went on to question why people have a problem with Harry speaking his mind, saying: "Who cares?! I think if this is cathartic for him in any way, shape or form, if this helps him deal with his trauma. Whether it's for himself or for other people so that he can say, 'Oh don't worry, you're not alone out there – I've experienced similar things.’"
Stacey Solomon can relate as she’s been in the public eye for twelve years, since coming third on The X Factor in 2009.
Staceys defence of Harry comes after Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard criticised him for “pointing the finger” at his dad, Prince Charles.

He said on the morning show: “The thing we really liked about Harry was that he was so normal and down to earth and there's something that has happened. His father buried his own father just a few weeks ago! I can't imagine how impossibly difficult that has been for the whole family."
