But the most recent inspection of The Manor in Elstree, Herts, concluded “improvement necessary”.
A recent TripAdvisor review says: “The food was so bad we decided not to stay for breakfast!”
A Strictly source said: “The hygiene rating doesn’t look good but they’re confident of the measures they have in place to keep things safe.”
The score was given by the Food Standards Agency and local council in April 2019.
Pros including Katya Jones, 31, have been seen arriving at the hotel near the Strictly studios.
A BBC source said: “It has recently come under new ownership and management are doing everything they can to make sure that it’s in top shape for the cast and are determined to change the score at the next inspection.”
Yesterday The Sun revealed actress Caroline Quentin and comedian Bill Bailey have been signed up for the new series.
