I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! viewers weren’t happy with the ITV series on Thursday as Mike Tindall, Jill Scott and Owen Warner took part in the latest Bushtucker Trial. Fans of the Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly fronted series felt Zara Tindall’s husband was given a rough deal in the challenge.

After Ant and Dec revealed the public hadn’t been voting, the campmates decided Mike, Jill and Owen would complete the ‘Scareground’ trial.

Once at the Scareground, Dec explained: “Three of you have to take part in this Trial to try and win some more coloured balls.

“At the end of the Trial all of the balls won will be added to our lovely Tombola over here.

“Ant and I will then draw three of the coloured balls at random and those three people will be whisked away by chopper to the beach for a sumptuous surf and turf barbie. How does that sound?”

Jill decided to go in the Unlucky Dip, Mike in the Critter Carousel and Owen in the Fiendish Ferris Wheel.

The England football star had to throw balls to Mike while in a box with jungle critters while Mike was covered in tree ants.

While being spun around, Mike had to throw the balls to Owen who was being repeated dunked in a tank of yabbies, eels and mudcrabs.

Owen then had to throw the coloured balls into a box with each colour representing a different celebrity.

At the end, the coloured balls went into a tombola and the Geordie duo picked out three celebrities that would enjoy a beach bbq.

However, viewers felt Mike, who was covered in ants, had the toughest time during the trial.

@FAMBidoodles tweeted: “Mike got the raw deal there. Horrendous! Those ants will find every orifice!#ImACeleb #ImACelebrityGetMeOutOfHere #ImACelebrity.”

@kelliemgk agreed: “What they did to Mike there was really uncalled for. I know it’s #ImACelebrity but throwing hundreds of green ants in his face wasn’t cool #ImACeleb #ImACelebrityGetMeOutOfHere.”

In the draw, Jill, Matt Hancock and Sue Cleaver won the prize of a beach bbq.

Matt told Jill: “You really, really deserve this after what you went through. And the fact that you’re so hungry.”

In the Bush Telegraph, Owen said: “I want to say that I’m not gutted, I want to be as happy as I can be for them, but I am ‘devo’d’. Sue didn’t really fancy it, Matt’s been here five minutes, Jill… Jill is a sweet, sweet soul, she’s an angel, I’m so happy for Jill.”

Back in camp, Seann said: “Matt is having an absolute holiday here. Sat in that chair, has a sleep in that bed, then goes to the beach for the day.”

Boy George added: “Can I just cut you off there, he still has to be Matt Hancock.”
