Two men have been taken to hospital after a construction worker fell three metres through a glass ceiling on a construction site in Sydney's north.

The accident occurred on the Pacific Highway at St Leonards on Thursday afternoon.

Both men, aged in their 30s, were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with multiple lacerations.

SafeWork NSW is now investigating.
