Portugal's captain has been released from the national squad ahead of Wednesday's game against Sweden.
The Juventus forward has not suffered any symptoms of Covid-19 but his girlfriend could not resist publicly showing her support.
Georgina, 26, posted a screenshot of her video call with boyfriend, Cristiano to her 21.4million Instagram followers following the news of his test result.
She captioned the snap of the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star, lying topless in bed, "You are my inspiration", adding a love heart emoji.
Ronaldo is "doing well, without symptoms, and in isolation", according to the Portuguese Football Federation
The PFF confirmed in a statement: "Following the positive case, the remaining players underwent new tests this Tuesday morning, all with a negative result, and are available to Fernando Santos for training this afternoon, in Cidade do Futebol.
"The game (against Sweden), counting for the qualification phase of the Nations League, is scheduled for Wednesday, at 19:45, in Alvalade."
Ronaldo is now the biggest name in world football to have tested positive for coronavirus, adding to the likes of Liverpool stars Sadio Mané and Thiago Alcântara who have both sat out the international break.
It was only on Sunday when Ronaldo played the full 90 minutes as he came up against other European big names in Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe.
With Cristiano on international duty, drawing 0-0 with France on Sunday, Georgina has been busy modelling in the couple's current home of Turin, Italy.

On Sunday Georgina shared a cheeky snap of her casually posing in the passenger seat of Ronaldo's £1.7 million Bugatti supercar.
After meeting in a Madrid shop where Georgina was working, the Argentinian model is now helping to raise Ronaldo's four children – their two-year-old daughter Alana Martina, surrogate twins Eva and Mateo, three, and ten-year-old Cristiano Jr.
