Denver weather forecast: Cold week ahead with lows in teens several nights

A week of near-freezing high temperatures is in store for Denver as the highest temperature in the forecast all week is only 41 degrees.

Temperatures all week will be about five to ten degrees below normal, and there are at least three days with some small snow chances.

Monday is starting the work week off at 13 degrees in the morning, and the afternoon high is 36 degrees. The low Monday night is 20 degrees, and there is a small 20% chance of some snow flurries while a system moves through the area.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be similarly cold, with high of 36 and 41 degrees, respectively, and lows of 19 and 21 degrees.

Snow returns to the area Thursday, with a 20% chance of snowfall in Denver and widespread chances across the Interstate 25 corridor.

Though the snowfall totals in the area are only expected to be one to two inches, there could be some hazardous road conditions on interstates during Denver’s rush hour.
