King Charles III has inherited bizarre items since becoming king including a prized animal, it has been revealed.

He has received gifts including wine, rare pipistrelle bats and an unbeatable bull, as well as taking over the Queen's pigeon lofts.

Over in Sandringham a plot of land where Prince Philip was named the first Brit to successfully cultivate truffles has also been inherited by Charles.

It has been reported he is now the owner of Balmoral’s Gusgurlach, a three-year-old bull that scored top prize at the Royal Highland Show two years in a row.

On top of wacky creatures, the King has also been given a £2million wine cellar under Buckingham Palace.

Charles also has rights over unmarked mute swans in England, reports The Sun.

Following his mother's death, the King has shared his dreams of transforming Balmoral into a public memorial.

His plans could see future guests be given the option of visiting through wider periods in the year, the Daily Star previously reported.

Before Her Majesty's death, Balmoral was only open to the public from April to July each year.

This period would precede the monarch's annual holiday at the Scottish estate, a tradition for the Royal Family during her reign.

She would travel to the Aberdeenshire estate at the end of July and spend the rest of the summer there.

The Queen spent her final days at Balmoral before she sadly passed away last month.

Her cause of death has been confirmed as old age.
