Meghan Markle may reportedly give birth at the same plush hospital as Victoria Beckham – with rooms going for nearly £3,000.
She and Prince Harry announced they were expecting their second child on Valentine’s Day, delighting royal fans.
The couple did not clarify when the baby is due, but the Duchess of Sussex has a range of options for the birth in California.
Meghan may choose Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, MailOnline reported.
A raft of celebs have used its deluxe maternity ward, including Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and Britney Spears.
Rooms are thought to cost around $4,000 [£2,867] a night and come with an en-suite bathroom, with new mums offered gourmet cuisine.
The UCLA’s [University of California, Los Angeles] BirthPlace offers suites for $330 [£236] a night.
It comes with a promise of four hours’ “nesting time” per day, where medical staff leave the newborn child alone with its parents.
The Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Westwood, another UCLA facility, has “fine-dining room services similar to what is offered at a five-star hotel”.

Guests can also expect to be served by tuxedo-wearing waiters called “food ambassadors”.
The Natural Birth Center, also based in LA, offers “peace, safety, and freedom from interventions”.
Its website reads: “Our birth centers are elegant, similar to an up-scale hotel, and are the only free-standing accredited centers in Los Angeles that are less than a half mile from our collaborating hospitals.

“Once you are in active labor you will be greeted by familiar faces, ready to continue your exciting birth journey.
“You and your family are welcomed into an environment of relaxation, support, and comfort that will allow your body to birth as nature intended.”
A day after the pregnancy announcement, CBS revealed that legendary US TV host Oprah Winfrey will interview the royal couple.

CBS confirmed on Monday, February 15, that the 90-minute special "Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special" will air on March 7.
The network said Oprah will speak with Meghan on “a wide-ranging interview covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood (and) philanthropic work, to how she is handling life under intense public pressure”.
The pair will later be joined “by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family”.
Oprah and Meghan are good friends, and the US TV host is thought to have helped her and Harry find a place to stay when they arrived in Los Angeles.
