Hoax reports Mia Khalifa had been killed in a car crash sent Arabic social media in meltdown earlier this week.
But as fans feared the worst, the former pornstar turned social media influencer was frolicking by the beach and posing in barely-there swimwear.
To butcher a quote from Mark Twain, rumours of Mia's death had been greatly exaggerated.

According to Al Madenah News, it had been claimed earlier this month that she had died in a car crash, with images of a mangled red car that had slammed into a tree being shared.
The car was clearly not something Mia would drive, and this was, of course, fake.
However, it was only proven to be so after local news outlets decided to check her actual Twitter account… which was of course full of images, videos and tweets from the very-much-alive Lebanese-American 30-year-old.
Al Madenah claimed that this was the latest in a long time of “lies” about her published on Arabic social media.
They said: “The story is that the majority of activists circulated the news, as usual without verifying its authenticity or the source that published it, and since foreign websites did not publish any information about the accident or death, we can consider the news as just a rumour, nothing more.

“Since Mia, and since her sexual fame, we hear, from time to time, several rumours, rlated to her, including that she has cancer and other lies.
“To make sure of our information more, we entered Mia's account on Twitter, and she is never absent, she was tweeting on the site.”
As we reported just two days ago, Mia delighted fans once again by slipping into a minimalist red bikini and having a smoke.

She posted the image as part of what appears to be an insight into her life, as she enjoys some time close to the beach and works her way towards dinner.
It comes just a few days after she went on a rampage about how smoking is far better for you than drinking, because “hangovers are poison”.
