Mindanao earthquake: People heard ‘screaming’ as strong quake rocks the Philippines

The United States Geological Survey (USGS), reported that the earthquake hit a depth of 25.8km (16 miles) today.  According to the USG, the earthquake struck at 9.21pm local time (1.21pm GMT). 

There have been no reports of casualties or damage to buildings as of yet.

According to testimonies on Earthquake-report, there have been reports of people “screaming” in the province of Bukidnon on the island. 

Moreover, the earthquake hit approximately 92km (56 miles) from the city of Davao. 

Mindanao is the second-largest of the Philippine Islands and was hit by a 6.8 magnitude earthquake last month.
