Parents of NYC schoolkids busted for stabbing other parents during dispute over bullying

Two parents of Brooklyn schoolkids were arrested for allegedly stabbing two other parents during a dispute believed to be about their children being bullied and fighting, police and sources said Monday.

The stabbings happened after a dispute between the four adults behind P.S. 229 Dyker at 1400 Benson Ave. in Bath Beach around 5 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Cops said Kim Kelly, 35, handed a knife to Pedro Ramos, 37, who allegedly used it to stab a 42-year-old father in the neck and chest and a 46-year-old dad in the leg.

The 42-year-old man suffered grave injuries and was taken to NYU Langone Hospital — Brooklyn in critical condition. The victim who was stabbed in the leg was taken to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.

Kelly and Ramos fled in a vehicle but turned themselves in a short time later at the NYPD’s 62 Precinct station house where they were arrested and charged with attempted murder, cops said.

The fight appeared to be over the parents’ children fighting and possibly being bullied in school, a police source said. Further details about the situation weren’t immediately available.
