Sex robot ‘breathes’ in incredible AI footage after going on sale

A groundbreaking sex doll has been unveiled with a new feature capable of mimicking breathing.

British manufacturer LoveDolls, located inside the world’s biggest sex doll factory in the Chinese city of Zhongshan, has spent years refining its models.

The company has already created dolls with artificial intelligence heads capable of limited conservation, with the technology said to be improving "every year".

Now, its workers have designed a model with a “new and very popular” breathing feature.

LoveDolls spokesman Adam told the Daily Star: “Everybody agrees that the perfect sex doll robot, almost indistinguishable from humans, will appear in our lifetimes.

“However they will not appear overnight. Rather, they will be created by slowly adding and upgrading existing features to current dolls.”

LoveDolls employees have been busy adding these features and making their dolls increasingly lifelike.

Adam continued: “We have real implanted human hair in the head, eyebrows and pubic region. This has also been put in the chest and armpits for the male dolls.

  • Sex robots 'must be used on older humans who suffer from impaired sexual functioning'

“The head costs $600 (£442), we do the crazy pubic hair patterns for free, and chest/armpits are $50 (£36) extra.

“The breathing feature is new and very popular. It plugs into the wall to charge.

“When turned on, the chest moves up and down exactly like breathing, and air comes in and out of the nostril in tandem to mimic breath. This extra customisation costs $600.”

The company has also designed a heated model with the same body temperature as human beings.

Adam explained: “The heated body also plugs into the wall.

“Once charged, the entire body will stay warm for up to eight hours, with a remote control to set it at the same 37C temperature as human beings. This costs $250 (£184) extra.”

  • Sex robots 'smile and wink' with incredible human-like AI heads

Towards the end of last year, LoveDolls unveiled models with AI heads that “respond to many questions and make sexual noises and/or facial expressions like smiles and winks”.

Touch sensors have been implanted in their chests, but the function is also voice-activated.

Their foreheads, temples and cheeks move “just like real humans”, with the heads priced between $1,500 (£1,115) to $3,000 (£2,230).

During lockdown, customers bizarrely started demanding “monster” features, including tails and vampire teeth.

The company was receiving such requests once or twice a week.
