Woman admits racist rant at neighbour over fence ‘with her breasts hanging out’

A woman has admitted going on a drunken racist rant against her neighbour over the garden fence with the court hearing her breasts were "hanging out" at the time.

Leanne Thomas, 37, pleaded guilty to a racially aggravated offence of causing harassment, alarm or distress.

While she was shouting over her garden fence, the court was told, Ms Thomas’s breasts came out of her dress and a dog jumped up to lick them.

Sian Vaughan, acting for the prosecution, said that relations had always been good between the two neighbours until the drunken incident in August.

Describing the confrontation, Ms Vaughan said that Ms Thomas and the neighbour saw each other as the accused was “falling out of a taxi” outside her home while her partner was trying to pick her up off the pavement.

Ms Thomas immediately challenged the other woman to a fight, the court heard.

Using foul and abusive language, Ms Thomas threatened to take her neighbour’s dog away and called her names, reports the Western Telegraph.

Ms Vaughan told the court that: “She was hanging over the fence with her breasts hanging out.

"She then went running towards the house and pulled her skirt up to show her backside to members of the public.”

She added: “Her breasts were exposed and hanging over the fence. A dog was jumping up and licking at her breasts.”

Speaking for the defence, Andrew Issac suggested that there had been a previous dispute between the two neighbours and that on this one occasion, having taken drink, Ms Thomas “just snapped.”

“On this evening she had been drinking and decided enough was enough,” he said.

“It must be embarrassing for you.”
